Junior Design Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze machine issues to reduce repetition through design improvements.
• Lead machine improvement projects, including planning and implementation.
• Understand developmental projects and follow up on their progress.
• Develop and analyze machine designs, fabrication requirements, and civil layouts using design software.
• Create technical reports and presentations to communicate design concepts to stakeholders.
• Maintain critical spares inventory for machinery and schedule preventive maintenance (PM).
• Analyze engineering designs of proposed products and provide specifications to suppliers and vendors.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Education: B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Location Preference: Candidates should be located within the belt of Tiruvallur, Ambattur, Avadi, Thiruninravur, Hindu College, Pattabiram, and Poonamallee.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., Creo, AutoCAD, etc.).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in the local language (Tamil preferred).
• Sound knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT).
