Location: Vijayawada, AP

Experience: 10 - 15 Years (Project Site Experience)

Education: Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering

Software Expertise: Strong proficiency in ETABS

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Design Coordinator – Structures to oversee and manage the structural design aspects of our government building projects, including hospitals, educational institutions, and residential quarters. The ideal candidate should have 10-15 years of experience working at project sites, with expertise in ETABS and a strong ability to study and interpret drawings, support execution teams, and coordinate between the design team at the head office and the project site.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Coordination & Review:

• Act as the primary link between the design team at the head office and the site execution team to ensure seamless implementation of structural designs.
• Study and interpret structural drawings, specifications, and calculations to ensure alignment with site conditions.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, and structural engineers to resolve design-related queries.
• Ensure all structural designs comply with IS codes, NBC, and relevant safety standards.
• Liaise with government authorities, consultants, and contractors for design approvals and technical clarifications.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Expertise in ETABS for structural modelling and analysis.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, SAFE, and STAADPro (preferred).
• Deep understanding of concrete and steel structures used in government buildings.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills to address execution challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s in Structural Engineering (M.Tech / ME).
• Experience in handling government building projects such as hospitals, educational institutions, and residential quarters.
• Strong background in design-to-construction coordination with at least 10-15 years of project site experience.
