Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Specialist - USA at Desapex in Bengaluru. The role includes tasks such as lead generation, market research, customer service, and utilizing analytical skills for strategic business development.

Market Research & Analysis

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, competitor strategies, and potential opportunities within the USA construction and BIM sectors.
  • Analyze industry data and client feedback to refine market entry and expansion strategies.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and economic factors impacting the digital engineering and construction markets.

Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Identify and target prospective clients and partners in the USA market through various channels, including digital platforms, industry events, and networking.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads by employing both inbound and outbound marketing strategies.
  • Utilize CRM systems to track, manage, and analyze lead interactions and conversion rates.

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Initiate and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and influencers within target organizations.
  • Deliver personalized presentations and proposals that showcase Desapexs innovative digital engineering and BIM solutions.
  • Provide ongoing support and communication to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

Strategic Business Development

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teamsincluding marketing, engineering, and project managementto tailor solutions that align with client needs and project specifications.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to penetrate new markets and expand Desapex’s presence in the USA.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting progress, challenges, and recommendations for future growth.

Campaign & Content Collaboration

  • Work closely with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns and promotional materials that resonate with the USA audience.
  • Assist in the creation of thought leadership content (white papers, case studies, blog posts) to position Desapex as an industry leader in digital engineering and construction solutions.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Establish performance metrics and KPIs to measure the success of business development efforts.
  • Provide regular updates on lead generation outcomes, market trends, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Utilize analytical tools to assess the impact of strategies and adjust approaches to maximize ROI.

Event Participation & Networking


  • Represent Desapex at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events in the USA.
  • Build and maintain a professional network that supports business development objectives and enhances brand visibility.
  • Organize and host webinars or informational sessions to engage potential clients and educate the market on Desapex’s offerings.

Customer Service & Post-Sales Support


  • Ensure a smooth handover process from the business development team to project implementation, maintaining clear communication throughout the client lifecycle.
  • Address client queries and concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
