Dy Manager or Manager-PED Nuclear-Engineering

Role & responsibilities

• Support Marketing team during pre-bid stage.Carry out raw material estimation, & study of technical specification.
• Optimization of raw material.
• Design as per ASME Sec. VIII using PV-ELITE.
• Finite element analysis using NozzlePRO software.
• Obtaining approval of design report from customer/ Consultants.
• Detail Engineering based on customers specification, drawings, and applicable codes for Pressure Vessels & Heat exchangers.
• Preparation of Material Purchase Specifications based on clients specification & applicable codes.
• Review of manufacturing drgs. with consideration to welding details, heat treatment details, geometrical tolerances, machining feasibility, NDT etc.
• Interaction with cross functions like welding development, Quality control, Process Planning & Production.
• Interaction with client,consultants, for approval of manufacturing drawings, material purchase specification, proposals etc.
• Interaction with Third Party Inspectors in case on non conformities.
• Ensure error free Engineering Documents / deliverables are released within the project time frame.

Preferred candidate profile

• Hands on experience in Solid works, PV Elite & AUTO CAD. (Essential.)
• Hands on experience in ANSYS Workbench.
• Exposure to ASME U & U2 certification audit process.
• Demonstrated experience in Design & Engineering of heavy Pressure Vessels and heat exchangers required for refineries based on ASME Sec. VIII Div. 1, 2, & TEMA.
• International standards ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001.
• Exposure to various grades of Carbon, Low alloy & High alloy, and non Ferrous materials .
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team management.
• Overall exposure to manufacturing, Fabrication, Quality requirements, NDE methods.
