This role reports into the APAC Regional Director Business Platforms and is responsible for enabling the regional business strategy through the integrated enterprise platform landscape. This role is focussed on strategic transformation and responds to market demand by overseeing platform solutioning and deployment readiness. The ESD is also the SPOC for global strategic projects enablement where business platform input is required in the region. The ESD is an ambassador for APAC markets requirements to ensure target state architecture enables regional business processes.
This highly visible role interacts with staff at all levels within the organization as well as external vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy:
- Own the APAC enterprise business platforms roadmap, working with the region & partners to drive the transformation agenda
- Develop and maintain the AS-IS systems architecture knowledgebase (enterprise, application, integration, and master data) for enterprise platforms
- Create transition plans for migration to the regional target state including the development of strategic business cases in collaboration with the markets & functional stakeholders
- Be an ambassador for the regional federated model by ensuring that APAC requirements are in line with business strategy and are reflected in the development and enhancement of target state architecture.
- Lead the regional response to global strategic initiatives requiring APAC BP input such as business insights, master data & business operating model.
Solutions:
- Own the scoping stage of the demand management process including relationship management with internal clients (market) & key regional and global stakeholders
- Respond to market demand by partnering to gather high level business requirements
- Work with a wide range of stakeholders including delivery, product, vendors, process owners, service assurance & the market to create high level solution designs, deployment timelines, and cost benefit analysis
- Facilitate approvals to deploy including budget, security, legal, resourcing, 3rd party contracts, technical & process design
Leadership:
- Responsible for the overall direction of the APAC Enterprise Solutions team including tooling, structure, operating model, processes, frameworks and performance management and development.
- Member of the APAC BP LT working closely with peers in Delivery, Service Assurance, Automation & Innovation, & PMO to ensure a seamless & integrated experience for internal clients.
- Work with the Technology Transformation Partners in each group of markets to ensure that both the APAC Business Platforms strategy is well represented, and the market strategic needs are well understood
- Embed a market centric culture in the Enterprise Solutions operating model with a focus on the end-to-end Lead to Cash value stream which spans all corporate Functions and business Practice areas
- Produce insights to support progress reporting against strategic initiatives & portfolio of work
Experience Required:
- Experienced in building and leading high performing business platform teams including Architects & Analysts
- Strong C-Level stakeholders' engagement and alignment skills. Ability to drive consensus and decisions in a complex organisation with Global, Region & Market leaders.
- A transformation mindset - experience planning large complex programs from priorities, timeline, deliverables, budget to people.
- Excellent overall understanding of enterprise technology applications, architecture, and operations/process such as CRM, ERP, Delivery & Timesheet Platforms, iPaaS, HRMS.
- Proactively serves as a "trusted advisor" to the business senior leaders.
- Possess strong commercial & analytical skills, including an understanding of business economics, budgeting, business case production, and financial resources
- Exposure to Media, Creative or CXM organisations or similar business models would be advantageous.
- Experience required for the role is 18+ year
