Senior Emgineer-Industrial Automation (required)

Role & responsibilities

This position is accountable for the selling, promotion, and growth of an industrial automation Products portfolio for new End User business development. The main offers are: Industrial Automation (VFD, PLCs, Servo System and HMIs).

Travel within the respective territory to meet End Customers & their System Integrators while developing new Project sales opportunities, pursue Sales leads, and address the requirement of larger accounts.

This position utilizes excellent products/solutions/services skills and customer knowledge to act as a consultant for high-level customer contacts regarding customer's present and future industrial automation needs.

Responsibilities:

• Project Sales of Automation products with End user and EPC customers.
• Develops sales opportunities /pipeline in new and existing accounts.
• Identifying, contacting & developing existing and new potential customers.
• Set goals and objectives, develop sales/business plans, establish call/Visit plans and strategies, develop account profiles and execute the sales plan.
• Apply market and account skills necessary for dealing with specific, high-level target customers.
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through in-depth knowledge of customer's organization, increasing account dedication, timely communication, and follow up.
• Leading Sales at defined geographies and customer segments.
• Knowledge of Automation products PLC, HMI, VFD,SERVO SYSTEM and software Schneider Electric, ABB, Rockwell, and Siemens etc.
• Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM
• Ability to present technical solutions to end user customers
• Business and financial savvy. Results driven; financial acumen
• Expected Territorial Travel: 40-60%
• Identify and qualify potential accounts and promote products available in Complete Automation product basket.
• To visit a minimum of 4-5 customers relevant to the business every day depending on the territory allocated.
• To increase customer base through customer segmentation and Approaching new customers in the allocated territory.
• Provide application, product selection and cross-reference assistance based on customer requirements.
• Assessing of Clients Automation Engineering Requirements.
• Lead and/or participate in cross-functional teams to support organizational goals.
• Generate daily visit reports and weekly sales review reports as per company policy.
• Attain monthly and yearly sales goals established by management.
• Conduct product demonstration at customer site.
• Other duties as assigned by management

Preferred candidate profile

1. Exposure / experience of direct sales to End User, EPC, and OEM customers is a must.

2. Exposure and Knowledge of Different Type of End user Segment like Automotive, Pharma, Sugar, Paper, Cement Industry etc.

3. Sales experience & Knowledge of similar on Industrial Automation Products available in our product basket PLC, HMI, AC Drive, Servo System, is a must.

4. Experience of Industrial Automation/ Project sales either working with Automation Companies like ABB, Schneider, Siemens, Fuji, Mitsubishi, Innovance etc or their System Integrators.

5. Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation and/or power electronics in Engineering from a college (four-year) or Diploma from an institute (three year) or related technical school.

6. Energetic, self-motivated, and focused.

7. Strong relationship builder.

8. Ability to multi-task and work cross-functionally.

9. Team player who can work independently as required.

10.Strong interpersonal, analytic and communication skills.
