Delphic is seeking a skilled and experienced WordPress Developer to join our team. this is a Mid-entry level position with a solid understanding of WordPress. This position is just programming, no design/layout is necessary Must be able to troubleshoot, make updates and correct error to existing WP sites

Responsibilities:
Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
Collaborate with the design team to implement pixel-perfect and visually appealing user interfaces.
Customize existing WordPress themes and templates to meet specific client needs.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress websites, plugins, and themes.
Integrate third-party APIs and services into WordPress sites as required.
Optimize website speed, performance, and overall user experience.
Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in WordPress development.
Work closely with project managers to estimate project timelines and deliver projects within deadlines.
Provide technical guidance and support to other team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Ensure that websites are responsive and work seamlessly across various devices and browsers.
Conduct website maintenance, updates, and backups as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field is preferred.
Proven 3+ years of experience as a WordPress Developer with a portfolio showcasing your WordPress projects.
Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Extensive experience in developing custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch.
Familiarity with popular page builders, such as Elementor, Beaver Builder, or WPBakery.
Solid understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
Knowledge of website performance optimization techniques and tools.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to think creatively.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
A strong eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory but a Plus):
Experience with e-commerce platforms and integrations (e.g., WooCommerce).
Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (e.g., Sass, Less).
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
Understanding of SEO best practices for WordPress websites.
