Work youll do

As an Executive in our Tax team youll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations. You will:

1. Primary

• Checking completeness of client data received for periodic filing of relevant Annexures and Returns and escalating any missing details to the Client Service Team (CST)
• Performing basic validation checks and flagging off discrepancies/deviation from the SOP to CST for timely action
• Preparing and uploading details of outward supplies, imports and inward supplies attracting RCM in Annexure I or GSTR 1. (as applicable) per schedule discussed and agreed with the client/SOP
• Computation of GST liability and eligible input tax credit based on the data shared
• Preparing and uploading returns and coordinating for GST tax/interest/late fee payment
• Sharing the acknowledgment of final return with CST
• Circulating periodic reports on returns filed/payments made
• Preparing reconciliations statements vis-a-vis register and returns
• Preparing annual return in Form 9 and reconciliation statement in Form 9C.
• Escalating discrepancies/deviation from the SOP to CST for timely action
• Preparing a compliance calendar and sharing on monthly basis and adherence to mutually agreed timelines.

2. Secondary

• Assisting the team lead in analyzing of data pertaining to GST audit and departmental proceedings
• Assistance in generation of E-way bill
• Maintain and update the client data repository on share point on a daily basis and assist team lead in preparing MIS Areas of exposure/work background
• Working knowledge of VAT/GST/CST provisions pertaining to compliances
• Hands on in filing of periodic returns under VAT/CST/GST
• Good knowledge of MS office, Excel in particular
• Understand and use technology tools

Qualifications

• Graduate or Post Graduate having 1 to 2 years of experience (minimum) in filing of GST returns/other compliance processes and collation of data required for GST Audit.
• Good knowledge and hands on experience of MS Office
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude
• High level integrity
