Migration

• 3 - 7 years of hands-on experience in HCX migration experience is mandatory.

HCX configure and manage VMware HCX components, including Interconnect, Network Extension, ServiceMesh and WAN Optimization.

Ensure proper setup and configuration of GCVE environments to meet migration requirements.

Monitor and setup a notification for migration processes and troubleshoot issues promptly.

Provide regular updates and status reports to project stakeholders.

Document migration processes, configurations, rollback and best practices.

Provide technical support during and after migration to ensure smooth transition and operation.

Conduct validation and performance testing post-migration to ensure success.

Work closely with respective teams and plan for Rollback activities and ensure to implement smooth rollback process in place.

P2V Migrations: Perform physical-to-virtual migrations ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.

Experience on VMware HCX for seamless workload migration, including replication, vMotion, Bulk Migration, RAV and cold migration.

Hands on experience on core Networking (Switches, Routers & Firewalls) skills, NSX-T Firewalls and GCE/GCVE networking skills.
