Job description

Deloitte India is looking for an Internal Audit professional with experience of having done prior audits in the Media and Entertainment, Gaming Industry, Telecom, Oil and Gas sector across levels.

The placement will be in the Internal Audit Market Offering (part of Audit and Assurance) which covers Operational Reviews, Development of SOPs, Policy Compliance, Process and Controls Advisory including IFC testing.

The professional would be exposed to working on diversified cross-functional teams in the given area of specialization.

Preferred background:

CA/ACCA/CIA/CPA/CMA/MBA/Chemical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/PGDM/Graduates(entry level positions only) with post-qualification experience of 1- 8+ years.

Working with any of the Big 4/Large consulting firms and having experience in internal audits of Media and Entertainment, Gaming Industry, Telecom, Oil and Gas clients

Candidates from the industry, should preferably have experience in working with the compliance / internal audit/risk management function/operations department of the above-mentioned entities

Strong knowledge of processes and systems in their respective area of operations.

Strong knowledge and understanding of risks across Operational areas.

Should have the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects including experience in Managing teams.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Leading/execution of Internal Audit /Advisory engagements

Responsible for end-to-end delivery including supervising and reviewing engagement teams

Coordination with other service lines within the firm for internal opportunities

Establishing strong professional relationships with external clients and internal team members

Supporting the partners in driving select client relationships of the firm

Taking the lead and responsibility on internal practice improvement initiatives relating to quality, risk, people, etc.

Developing and mentoring teams

Expected to work from clients location/office.

Skills Required:

For Telecom sector related requirement (3 - 8+ years of experience)

• Experience of internal audits, internal financial controls, risk assessments and corporate governance engagements for telecom operators in India/ Middle East/ Africa covering methodology for Radio and Fixed Network Planning, network Implementation, Operations & Maintenance of Radio, Transmission and Access network, Site Acquisition, and Radio Network Optimization and Quality management
• Experience of auditing IT/ cloud/ software/ similar companies including their product lines
• Experience of auditing large-scale Telecom infrastructure development projects
• Experience of auditing banking and treasury operations, such as cash management and forecasting, banking relationship mgt, etc.
• Experience in auditing investments in equities/ debt, including underlying processes such as appraisal, due diligence, structuring, monitoring, etc.

For Media & Entertainment, Gaming sector related requirement (1 - 6+ years of experience)

• Experience in Internal Audit, IFC/ SOX implementation & testing, SOP development
• 1st preference - Media & Entertainment, Gaming industry
• 2nd preference - e-commerce, manufacturing, FMCG, Service industry

Good to have (any 1 of below experience along with above will be preferred):

• Experience of internal audit of Media Campaigns and Public Relations Strategies
• Experience of internal audit in Social Media Contracts and agreements

For Oil & Gas sector related requirement (1 - 6+ years of experience)

• Experience in performing internal audits for material and services contracts related to Oil & Gas drilling activities.
• Experience working in Oil and Gas Drilling and / or Oil Field Service Companies, or Exploration & Production (E&P) Companies.
• Experience of working with SAP
• Experience in using data analytics techniques to perform audit procedures.
• Experience auditing operational controls including control systems for Oil and Gas Plants
• Understanding and knowledge of key HSE and reliability / integrity standards for processing facilities.
• Experience working within Oil & Gas processing facilities.

Engineer with extensive linear programing experience (min 8-10 years) with the below background:

• Experience of working within Oil & Gas, focus on optimizing assets/ Linear Programing
• Technoeconomic understanding of downstream assets
• Linear Programming applications for Refineries
• Optimization studies for downstream assets
• Certifications: Chemical Engineering and/or Business Degrees with and/or Linear Programing experience.
• Linear Programs (LP) Modeling Engineer
