Role: New Product Development Soft Goods

Designation: Sr. Executive

Reporting To: Deputy Manager - Industrial Engineering

Location: Mohali, Punjab

Job Description/Technical Competency:

➢ Lead productionization efforts for new products and design changes, ensuring smooth integration into manufacturing processes.

➢ Provide expertise in conventional processes and machinery such as sewing machines, cutting machines, label printing, and thread cutting machines.

➢ Utilize knowledge of different types of sewing machines, stitch types, threads, needles, and printing machines to optimize production efficiency and quality.

➢ Conduct detailed knowledge of fabrics including types, industrial applications, manufacturing processes, specifications, properties, and quality testing methods.

➢ Manage consumables such as threads and needles, ensuring availability and quality compliance.

➢ Develop and implement techniques related to stitch types and other garment manufacturing processes.

➢ Prepare and maintain documentation required for new product launches, including PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Parameter Sheets, Pilot Lot Documents, Process Validation, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Job Specification:

Qualification: ➢ Graduation in Garment Manufacturing Technology (GMT), Apparel Manufacturing & merchandising, Apparel Production, B.Sc in textiles. or Graduation in IE or Production with experience in garment industry

Years of Experience: 3 years 5 years
