Training Manager

Role & responsibilities

Training Program Development:

• Design and develop training programs that address key skill gaps and support continuous improvement in the manufacturing workforce.
• Tailor training programs to meet the specific needs of different departments, such as production, quality assurance, maintenance, and safety.
• Collaborate with department managers to identify training needs and create development plans.

Training Delivery:

• Conduct hands-on training sessions for new hires, current employees and facilitate other required training to the leadership teams.
• Use various instructional methods including on-the-job training, e-learning, workshops and simulations.
• Ensure that all training is relevant, engaging, and meets organizational standards.

Training Evaluation and Reporting:

• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs through employee feedback, testing, and performance metrics.
• Prepare and present reports on training outcomes, including attendance, skill improvements, and compliance.
• Provide recommendations for improvements based on evaluation data.

Employee Development:

• Assist in identifying high-potential employees and support their career development through advanced training and mentoring.
• Create a learning culture that encourages continuous personal and professional growth within the workforce.
• Implement leadership development programs to prepare employees for future managerial roles.

Process Improvement:

• Stay current on industry trends, training methodologies, and manufacturing technologies to ensure training programs are innovative and effective.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in training processes and manufacturing operations.

Training Materials and Documentation:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive training materials, manuals, and job aids.
• Ensure that all training records are accurately documented and stored in compliance with company policies.

Preferred candidate profile

- B.Tech. (Mechanical/Electricals/Electronics). Certification in Training or Learning & Development is a plus

- 4-8 years of experience in training and development, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
