Role Overview:

We are seeking a talented Marketing Specialist to oversee and execute comprehensive content and social media marketing strategies across various channels. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can blend creativity with data-driven decision-making. You will take ownership of content creation, campaign management, and brand development to help drive growth and elevate Defx's presence in the crypto and DeFi space.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in content writing, social media strategy, and growth marketing with a proven ability to create engaging content that resonates with our target audience.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Strategy:

- Develop and implement a cohesive content marketing strategy from scratch, including creating a content calendar and sourcing content from internal and external writers.

- Write and edit high-quality content for blogs, social media posts, emails, press releases, and other digital channels.

- Create search-optimized content to boost SEO and improve organic traffic.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create content that aligns with business goals and resonates with our audience.

Social Media Marketing & Community Management:

- Oversee and execute social media campaigns across platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Reddit, and Telegram.

- Engage with communities on social media to build brand loyalty and increase user engagement.

- Develop and maintain relationships with influencers, media outlets, and other stakeholders to enhance brand visibility.

Growth & Campaign Execution:

- Manage both organic and inorganic digital marketing campaigns, ensuring they align with company objectives.

- Set goals, track metrics, and optimize campaigns across all channels.

- Monitor competitor activities and industry trends, adapting strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

Reporting & Market Analysis:

- Prepare regular reports on marketing performance, insights, and growth metrics for the CEO and leadership team.

- Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities, industry trends, and potential risks.

Team Collaboration & Leadership:

- Prioritize and allocate resources for marketing projects based on goals and budget constraints.

- Forecast hiring needs for the marketing department and assist in recruitment and talent management.

- Participate in the quarterly and annual strategic planning of company objectives.

Requirements:

Experience:

- 3+ years of experience in content creation, social media marketing, and growth marketing, ideally for a tech product or platform.

- Proven track record of managing content marketing and social media strategies from ideation to execution.

- Experience with budget creation and management for marketing campaigns.

Skills & Knowledge:

- Strong content creation, writing, and editing skills, with a focus on SEO and search-optimized content.

- Expertise in using marketing and analytics tools like Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, and other related platforms.

- Solid understanding of branding, digital advertising, and community management.

- Knowledge of SEO best practices and how to optimize content for search engines.

Education:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

Soft Skills:

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with the ability to turn insights into actionable plans.

- Creative, innovative, and eager to stay ahead of digital marketing trends.

- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work across departments in a remote-first environment.
