Design Engineer

Job description

Our technology-driven firm’s engineering department currently has an immediate opening for a Mechanical Design Engineer. The Design Engineer will be responsible for carrying out the duties of the Engineering department, including drafting, research, prototyping, engineering documentation, estimating and process improvement. The successful candidate will report directly to the heads, and collaborate with design/purchasing and shop/fabrication teams on design projects.

Work Location – Bhosari, Pune

Responsibilities and Duties

• Use specialized software (AutoCad and Solidedge) to create models and drawings of products
• Experienced in pressure vessel design as per ASME codes, Static equipment & heat exchanger design, skids, piping and complete process equipment designing.
• Drafting detailed fabrication drawings, machining drawings and P&IDs.
• Organize and maintain existing engineering records.
• Ensure components and assemblies adhere to applicable industry and business standards.
• Ensure workshop manufacturing complies with the designs that are finalized in any particular project.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

• Education Qualification : Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• Software proficiency : AutoCad and Solidedge
• Experience : 3+ years in PVD, static equipment and process equipment design.
