Utility Engineer- Ammonia

Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing refrigeration, RO plant, Air Compressor, Ammonia Plant and utility systems to maintain consistent production.
• Daily monitoring and maintenance of utilities with signature in log sheet & report books of all people.
• Testing, monitoring and record keeping of work
• Maintenance and repair of utilities through shift in charge & technicians.
• Works with other departments to meet goals as needed.
• Handles some service-related calls with a very high level to meet the expectations of production or QC QA team.
• Reads & check readings of log sheet.
• Troubleshoot problems with refrigeration plants and resolve them efficiently.
  
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols when handling hazardous materials like ammonia.
  
• Collaborate with other teams to optimize plant operations and improve overall efficiency.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 4-9 years of experience in utility engineering or a related field.
  
• Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. degree in Mechanical or equivalent qualification.
  
• Strong knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems, chillers, cooling towers, air compressors, chilling plants, utility maintenance practices.
• Requiring a strong technical background in engineering principles and familiarity with relevant industry standards.
