PPC Engineer (Piping Fabrication Shop Only)

Job Profile:-
1. Pre-Planning Stage (Strategic Planning)
✅ Define objectives: Cost reduction, efficiency, quality, and delivery timelines.
✅ Analyze market demand and sales forecasts.
✅ Determine production capacity (machines, labor, materials).
✅ Develop a master production schedule (MPS).
2. Production Planning Stage
✅Identify raw material requirements.
✅Plan procurement and inventory management.
✅Implement Material Requirement Planning (MRP).
✅Select manufacturing processes and sequence of operations.
✅Design workflows and layout planning.
✅Optimize resource utilization.
✅Estimate workforce requirements.
3. Production Scheduling
✅ Create detailed production schedules (short-term and long-term).
✅ Implement scheduling techniques like Gantt charts or Critical Path Method (CPM).
✅ Align scheduling with supply chain and logistics.
4. Production Control & Execution.
✅ Track production in real-time (IoT, ERP, or MES systems).
✅ Identify bottlenecks and adjust schedules dynamically.
✅ Ensure quality control and defect reduction.
✅ Manage deviations using corrective actions.
5. Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
✅ Collect production data and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
✅ Implement Lean, Six Sigma, or other efficiency techniques.
✅ Reduce waste and improve cost efficiency.
✅ Optimize processes through automation and AI-based solutions.
6. Feedback & Future Planning
✅ Gather insights from employees and managers.
✅ Refine production strategies based on lessons learned.
✅ Integrate innovations like smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0
