De Heus Animal Nutrition is an international producer of a complete range of compound feed, premixes, concentrates and feed specialties. Our customers are small and large farmers, integrations and dealers. We provide them with nutritional concepts that ensure maximum animal health and optimal performance. Allowing them to feed their poultry, pigs, ruminants and aquaculture every single day.

Job description:

• Operate and control pellet mills on proper way.
• Inspect operational status and clean up pellet mills.
• Strictly follow-up the quality standard of pellets during and before pelleting to ensure to meet the quality requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Receive hand-over from the Operator of previous shift.
• Inspect and clean pellet mills, tools and workplace.
• Operate and monitor pellet mill equipment, ensuring proper settings for steam, pressure and temperature to produce pellets according to specifications.
• Adjust machine settings to maintain consistent pellet size, texture and quality.
• Perform start up, shutdown and changeover processes efficiently and safely.
• Decide to approve and reject unaccepted quality of finished product, which will be transferred to rework or regrinding.
• Record operational data, including temperature, pressure and production rates to ensure compliance with production targets.
• Conduct routine quality check on pellets, such as size, moisture content and durability.
• Adjust processes as needed to meet quality standards and customer specifications.
• Perform basic preventive tasks such as cleaning and lubricating equipment.
• Identify and troubleshoot minor mechanical or operational issues with the pellet mill.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team for repairs and equipment upgrades.
• Maintain accurate production logs and records of equipment performance.
• Generate the database during a work shift and hand-over to next shift.
• Clean the dump truck and workplace.
• Remark the failures to next Operator to aware of it.
• Other tasks as assigned by Shift Leader & Plant Manager.
• Directly report to Shift Leader about the problems/ failures if any and look for solution to solve it on the proper way.

• High School Diploma; Vocational certificate or higher (manufacturing, welding, mechanical..)
• Not required, but priority for candidates have experience in manufacturing company.
