DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline software delivery.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) to ensure performance, scalability, and security.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure seamless deployment and integration of applications into production environments.
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and scalability of critical systems.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any infrastructure-related issues.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.
• Maintain and enhance automation scripts to improve system efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Collaborate with security teams to implement best practices for securing cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Stay updated with the latest DevOps trends, tools, and technologies.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficient in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, CI, CircleCI, etc.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with configuration management and automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of version control systems like Git.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Splunk.
• Experience with networking, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and ensuring their availability and performance in a distributed environment.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments and application deployment.

Nice to Have:

• Certification in AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer, or Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer.
• Experience with Serverless architectures.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and deployment.
