Assistant Vice President, Application Support Engineer

Proficiency in managing logging stack such as Elasticsearch Cluster Management, Logstash, Filebeat, ILM, Kibana, Watchers and Dashboards
Expertise in Prometheus and exporters, Grafana, Alert manager, APM
Knowledge in writing Promql queries and Grafana Dashboards implementation
Expertise in CI/CD pipeline implementation
Hands on containerized platforms like Docker/Kubernetes
Experience with source code control systems like Bitbucket
Knowledge about High availability, Disaster Recovery and backup
Experience with Object Storage Systems like S3
Providing L1/L2 production support to the systems
Experience with Linux systems configurations
Experience in Shell scripting and Python
Basic understanding of source control concepts, best practices, and the software development lifecycle
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Added advantage if knowledge on any of the following components Grafana Mimir, Tempo, Loki, Events, Profiling
Understanding Terraform or Ansible
Understanding reported vulnerabilities and fixes
Knowledge about Opensearch
Open to explore new tool sets for observability
Knowledge on PagerDuty and Incident Management

Requirements

L2 Infra PROD/UAT Support for T&M applications
Understand executing accessibility and progressive enhancement presentation
Follow best practices and standards for accessibility and cross browser compatibility
Conduct Usability Testing to resolve interface problems
Should have a solid technical skill with diversity of thought and creative solutions that are in the best interests of our customers globally
Should have strong knowledge in UI Development
Should understand Angular/React JS
Contribute core front-end functionality to digital platform applications
Drive the technical roadmap for an in-house widgets framework built on micro-frontend principles
Drive the design and delivery of an in-house web components library
Mentor front-end engineers spread across distributed teams across
Taking the ownership of Infra support of T&M applications
Taking the ownership of driving the discussion with business users
Deliver project in time, a single point of contact and responsible for the Support
Adhere to firm-wide architecture standards, risk management and security policies
Team player and ability to work in Global Team setup, product owners and business team to develop, build & support application
Communicate and collaborate on development items with global team, as well as raise/work to resolve issues impacting development
Postproduction application support
Have a working understanding of any frontend automation testing framework
Ability to fine-tune front-end applications with efficient memory management and performance enhancement techniques
Familiarity in Atlassian products such as JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket Server (formerly Stash), Sonatype Nexus
Experienced deploying application in a containerized environment using docker / Kubernetes / PCF / Openshift / AWSet
