Role & responsibilitiy
Key Responsibilities:
1. Buying and Merchandising: Plan and execute buying strategies to achieve budgeted sales and margin targets.
2. Assortment Planning: Develop and manage product assortments to ensure a balanced and trendy merchandise mix.
3. Vendor Management: Foster strong relationships with vendors, negotiate prices, and ensure timely deliveries.
4. Liquidation Planning: Identify slow-moving products and plan for their liquidation to minimize losses.
5. Market Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with the latest fashion trends and analyze market data to inform buying decisions.
6. Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and sales reports to ensure business objectives are met
Preferred Requirements:
1. Experience: 6-7 years of experience in a similar buying role, in ladies' western wear and fusion wear.
2. Education: Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Retail, or a related field.
3. Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Proficient in MS Office and familiar with buying software.
4. Joining Time: Ability to join within 15-30 days.
