Site Engineer - Track Installation

Role & responsibilities

• Should be very cautious to achieve the target and key event dates as specified in tender.     
• The site Engineer should have knowledge of SOD approved by the client.       
• The horizontal alignment and versine checking before construction are mandatory and he should follow the process as specified in the IRPWM.      
• Should have a proper interface with viaduct contractor and PST Contractor for shear connectors as well as Third Rail bracket installations.       
• Should maintain the list of the items procured at the site and utilized as per the drawings available to him.       
• Mainly Cross levels, Gauges and positions of respective shuttering should be ensured before commencement of constructional activities.       
• All the track parameters should be checked and verified by superiors before permitting the construction activities. 
• Should be aware of tenders Specification BOQ items and execute accordingly.
• The engineer Should be thoroughly present at the time of construction of the track structure and installation of the track. Report to the Senior Track Expert.

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduation in Civil Engineering / Diploma in Civil Engineering
• 6+ Years of Post Qualification work experience.
• 2+ Years of work experience working in similar positions / role, on Metro Projects with GC / PMC / Client / Supervision or Construction firm
