Technical Project Manager | Mumbai/Bangalore

The Technical Project Manager is responsible for defining the technical project scope and deliverables, developing and maintaining the technical project plan, which outlines specific project tasks, milestone dates, and deliverables, and leading the project team members by company policies and procedures.

Core Requirements:

• Seasoned Technical Project Manager with 13 to 18 years of experience and having minimum 8 years of Technical PM experience.
• Proven experience in leading team with minimum 50+ technical members with roles from Technical Architect, Tech Leads, Devs, QA etc)
• Ablity to Challenge technical team on the estimations with valid data points
• Demonstate technical ablities during technical discussions with Enterprise architects, Application Architect, Tech Leads , SMEs from customer end
• Technical mentoring of team members to ensure team is on target with technical deliverables
• Go to person for technical team in resolving technical issues
• Create statergy, technical blue print, high level and low level design documents
• Guides and coaches the Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers.
• Gets team to a high performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques.
• Hand on knowledge with Agile Scrum, SAFe Agile & most recent industry developments on Process.
• Responsible for ensuring team adheres Process,practiceand guidelines.
• Coaches the team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and communicates effectively, both internally and externally working within the team.
• Works with Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support organizational project or product teams.
• Resolves team impediments with other Managers & Leads to increase the effectiveness of team.
• Contributes to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization.
• Acts as a leader who coaches and supports teams assigned to mainly Business as Usual (BAU) work and to a lesser degree, important department initiatives and applicable portions of corporate projects and initiatives.
• Exemplifies and promotes Agile values and principles.
• Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills.
• Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum, Kanban), or understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices.
• Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques.
• Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams.
• Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget along with desired quality
• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Ensure resource availability and allocation.
• Create detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
• Measure project performance and take appropariate corrective and preventive actions
• Report and escalate to management on time
• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Demonstrate leadership skills

Preferred (Good To Have) Qualifications:

• PMP Certification
• CSM Certification

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage project plans, budgets, scope, and schedules.
• Interact with the stakeholders to define and finalize the project objectives.
• Hold regular team meetings to allocate tasks to the teammates.
• Work with the technology for each project while updating it when advanced versions are released.
• Update stakeholders via regular reports.
• Establish and train teams, when necessary, on technical processes and strategies.
• Oversee day-to-day technical operations, including personnel assignments and reviews.
• Establish and implement training methods for technical personnel.
