Azure DevOps/Cloud Architect - CI/CD Pipeline (15-20 yrs)

Azure DevOps architect.

- 15+ years of overall IT experience and 7+ DevOps, with a focus on Azure.

- 12+years of IT experience and 6+ years of experience in DevSecOps.

- Provision and manage infrastructure resources in the cloud using tools like Azure Resource Manager templates, AWS CloudFormation, CDK or Terraform.

- Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes for cloud projects.

- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes Azure AKS, Helm chart.

- Experience in Azure FinOps, cost controls, best practices.

- Strong understanding of networking, security, and governance in cloud environments.

- Experience in Azure DevOps and Open source DevSecOps tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, Maven, Gradle, Sonar etc.

- Experience in Sonar, Automated testing, JMeter.

- Knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell or Python.

- Experience in monitoring and observability tools such as ELK, Prometheus, Data Dog, Azure Monitor.

- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Certifications : Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert Certifications.

Responsibilities :

- Provision and manage infrastructure resources in Azure using tools like Azure Resource Manager templates, Terraform, or CDK. Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of cloud-based infrastructure.

- Implement cost optimization strategies and manage cloud budgets effectively (Azure FinOps).

- Establish and manage robust CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.

- Integrate various tools and technologies into the CI/CD pipelines, including source control, build tools (Maven, Gradle), testing frameworks, and deployment tools.

- Implement security best practices throughout the CI/CD process.

- Leverage containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes (Azure AKS) to improve application portability and scalability.

- Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters, including deployment, scaling, and monitoring.

- Utilize Helm charts for efficient application deployment and management.

- Integrate security controls throughout the entire software development lifecycle.

- Implement and manage security scanning tools (e.g., SonarQube) to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.

- Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing.

- Implement and manage monitoring and observability tools (e.g., ELK, Prometheus, Azure Monitor) to track application performance, identify issues, and gain insights into system behavior.

- Establish alerts and notifications to proactively address potential problems.

- Collaborate effectively with development, testing, and operations teams to ensure smooth and efficient workflows.

- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Continuously evaluate and improve DevOps processes and tools to enhance efficiency, reduce risks, and improve overall software quality.
