Datafoundry - Senior Windows Engineer - Server Administration & Support (5-7 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Windows Engineer to join our team and provide expert technical support for our Windows-based systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Windows server administration and a proven track record of troubleshooting complex technical issues.

Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain Windows server infrastructure.

- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Windows servers, desktops, and applications.

- Perform system upgrades, patches, and security updates.

- Monitor system performance and identify potential issues.

- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (e.g, PowerShell).

- Participate in capacity planning and resource allocation.

- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in Windows server administration.

- Strong understanding of Windows server operating systems (Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022).

- Proficiency in Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other Windows services.

- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g, Hyper-V, VMware).

- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g, PowerShell).

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
