Senior Software Engineer - Infrastructure

The impact you will have:

• Design and manage Money systems and services, governing usage of all Databricks products and offerings
• Enhance engineering and infrastructure efficiency, reliability, accuracy, and response times, including CI/CD processes, test frameworks, data quality assurance, end-to-end reconciliation, and anomaly detection
• Collaborate with infrastructure and product teams to develop and implement innovative infrastructure that scales to meet evolving needs
• Contribute to long-term vision and requirements development for Databricks products, in partnership with our engineering teams

• BS (or higher) in Computer Science, or a related field
• 7+ years of production level experience in one of: Java, Scala, C++, or similar language
• Comfortable working towards a multi-quarter vision with incremental deliverables
• Proven track record in architecting, developing, deploying, and operating components of large scale distributed systems
• Experience with software security and systems that handle sensitive data
• Demonstrated ability to lead engineering projects across functional and organizational boundaries
• A proactive approach and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions
• Experience with cloud technologies, e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes
