Job Overview:
- DataBeat Consulting, a specialist in the Media and Analytics space, is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Digital Media Analyst to join our growing team.
- As a Digital Media Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing managed services to Publishers and Ad Tech clients, focusing on increasing their revenue and audience through data-driven insights.
- You will be responsible for analyzing large volumes of data, identifying trends, and providing actionable recommendations to support client business decisions.
- This is a client-facing role that requires strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with client business managers to understand their data and business objectives.
- Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for revenue and audience growth.
- Develop and present insightful reports and recommendations based on data analysis.
- Acquire deep subject matter expertise in the media and ad tech space.
- Own the day-to-day handling of analysis and revenue management on behalf of clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication and proactive problem-solving.
- Manage client expectations and ensure timely delivery of reports and insights.
- Own the reporting needs (periodic or ad-hoc) of the client.
- Develop a strong understanding of relevant tools and systems to extract and analyze data.
- Utilize data extraction and reporting tools to generate meaningful insights.
- Traffic, optimize and manage campaigns in the ad server of Publishers.
- Manage and execute recommendations to drive client success.
- Monitor campaign performance and implement optimization strategies.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Conceptualize and build data templates (primarily using Excel) to effectively represent and analyze data.
- Develop and implement data visualization techniques to communicate insights clearly.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to analyze large volumes of data and identify trends.
- Curiosity and a drive to explore data and uncover insights.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in using Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of data analysis and presentation methods.
- Familiarity with digital advertising and ad tech concepts is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to clearly present data and insights to clients and stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining client relationships.
- Highly detail-oriented and well-organized.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Ability to positively engage with the clients and build strong long-term relationships.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a relevant field (Business, Marketing, Analytics, Economics).
- Strong interest in digital media and advertising.
- Ability to work in a shift that covers 4 PM to 1 AM.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- This is not a coding/programming role.
