Wells Fargo is seeking a Analytics Manager, Consumer Lending Shared services Analytics
In this role, you will:
- Manage and develop a team of individual contributors in planning, coordinating, and executing data research projects or results oriented intelligence that supports line of business or companywide business objectives
- Identify and recommend strategies for developing and utilizing technical or analytic resources to enable initiatives that predict, improve, support, and measure business success
- Interpret and develop strategies that maximize profits or asset growth and minimize credit losses, operating losses and other risk exposures
- Ensure adherence to data management and data governance regulations, and policies and compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and multiple level managers to ensure effective consultation and recommendations based on data analysis
- Provide leadership to the department in the identification and development of innovative research concepts and designs
- Work with clients to define issues and information needs and translate them into specific data and technical requirements to support business initiatives and projects
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources
- Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent.
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of leadership experience
Required Qualifications for Europe, Middle East & Africa only:
- Experience in Analytics, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Leadership experience.
Desired Qualifications:
- M.A./M.Sc./ Any Masters College Degree or Higher in applied mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/ social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis.
- Able to guide, mentor and provide technical assistance to the team
- Ensures adherence to data management/data governance regulations and policies.
- Persuasive written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
- Detail oriented, results driven, and can navigate in a quickly changing and high demand environment while balancing multiple priorities
- Ability to research and report on a variety of issues using problem solving skills
- Knowledge of Banking and financial in Consumer lending (Home, Auto, PVSI, Non-Lending, Small Business and Personal Lines), Deposit Product Group, Card Retails and Merchant Services, investment solution and commercial banking is preferable.
- Ability to act with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management
- Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
- Ability to learn the business aspects quickly, multitask and prioritize between projects.

- Knowledge of analytical/data viz. tools & platforms such as SAS, SQL, Python, Tableau & Power BI
- Strong technical skillset developed from managing customer analytics, including a strong understanding of segmentation, predictive modeling, prospect identification and targeting, customer experience analyses, and how to structure test designs for products, campaigns, and programs
- Strong analytic and consultative skills to understand business needs and align those needs with analysts individual development goals and interests. Ability to deliver consistently against commitments that span analytics recruiting, delivery, etc.
- Strong communication and writing skills with high proficiency in grammar and articulation of insights. Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent execution ability, detail-oriented, well-organized, committed, and results orientated.
- Post Graduate degree (MBA/ M.Tech./ M.Sc. or equivalent) in any quantitative subjects like Statistics, Mathematics, Computers or Economics.
- Prior analytics experience in financial services industry is good to have.
