Role & responsibilities

Surgery Coder

• Graduate in Life sciences is a must.
• Must have a minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in Surgery coding
  (CPT along with ASA, modifiers).
• In-Depth knowledge of Coding Procedures (CPT) across all ranges
• Have an active coding certification (AHIMA, AAPC).
• Good knowledge of medical coding and billing guidelines.
• Good Knowledge in Medical Terminology, Anatomy & Physiology
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge in Surgery coding.
• Good communication both written and verbal.
