E&M Auditor

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Graduate in Life sciences is a must.
• Must have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in E&M coding (CPT along with ASA, modifiers).
• In-Depth Knowledge of Coding Procedures (CPT) across all ranges.
• Have an active coding certification (AHIMA, AAPC).
• Good knowledge of medical coding and billing guidelines.
• Good Knowledge in Medical Terminology, Anatomy & Physiology.
• Should have experience in auditing currently.
• Monitor error trends and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Identify coding and documentation issues.
• Good verbal and written communication and analytical skills.
• Skilled in interpersonal, written, and verbal communication, including email.
• Provide training and education to the coders on coding and documentation best practices.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge in E&M coding.
