Job role : L2 Data Center Engineer

Experiences: 4+ years of experience in Data Centre Networks or Network Operations Centre (NOC) support and security services.

Qualification: Only BE / B.Tech/MCA

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our team in supporting the business functions and applications. The role involves managing and monitoring network operations, ensuring security, handling customer calls, and providing technical assistance for network issues and software license management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Support:
  
• Log and track calls related to network issues.
• Record and track each call through to resolution.
• Log, follow-up, and escalate calls with OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) and ISPs (Internet Service Providers) when necessary.
• Assign severity levels to calls and escalate as required.
• Monitor and manage ISP and MPLS issues.
• Ensure proper information flow between shifts and monitor shift logs
• Analyze and create daily reports on pending calls, network status, and ISP utilization.
• Generate weekly reports on call types, downtime, call trends, network issues, and pending activities.
• Create and maintain a knowledge base for frequently asked questions (FAQ) to support users.
• Maintain a hardware asset database with configuration details, serial numbers, and asset codes.
• Create a software inventory that includes license details, version numbers, and media management.
• Record and manage new machine installations, movements, and configuration changes.
• Ensure software license compliance and conduct periodic audits to maintain 100% coverage.

Notice Period: Immediate /15 days/30 days.
