We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Data Analyst - Regulatory Excellence
Principal responsibilities
- Ability to understand and capture business/use case requirements, translating these into detailed stories, including creation of wireframes and storyboards where appropriate.
- Actively participating in Agile Sprint Ceremonies with refining, management, and prioritisation of the product backlog.
- Ensuring that platform enhancements delivered are tested and fit for purpose, achieving the desired business outcomes.
- Acting as a product owner lead on various use cases including strong stakeholder management and communication.
- Demonstrating a high technical aptitude to enable collaboration with IT and ensure requirements are understood for successful delivery.
- Supporting with the documentation of processes and user guides related to the platform.
- Partner closely with Data Delivery team, Group Functions to ensure successful end to end delivery of trusted data to meet business use case objectives.
Requirements
- University degree with m inimum 5 years relevant work experience
- Good understanding of banking operations and processes, preferably in a Risk and/or Finance context
- Experience of Agile (Scrum), certifications desirable
- Experience with project/collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Experience with Python for data analysis with SQL and/or other data query languages.
- Hands on experience working on Hadoop Big Data, Delta Lake and Google Cloud Platform technologies is advantageous.
- Experience or knowledge on Data Virtualisation products and technologies desirable
- Experience or knowledge on Data Security / Entitlements / Encryption products and technologies desirable
- Experience or knowledge on observability, monitoring and instrumentation products and technologies desirable.
- Experience or knowledge on REST and Streaming APIs desirable.
