Diploma Electrical Engineer (On rolls of vendor)

Roles & responsibilities

• Basic engineering development of single line diagram (SLD), selection of equipment parameters, development of substation (indoor/outdoor) layout.
• Procurement assistance - preparation of specification, bid evaluation
• Detail engineering development of assignment drawings for use by other departments, carrying out design calculations, preparation of bill of quantities (BOQ), development of construction drawings e.g. single line diagram, equipment layout, cable tray and cable routing, lighting installation, earthing & lightning protection installation, review of vendors drawings
• Interaction with client / vendor / team members / draftspersons
