Electrical Design Engineer

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Designer to join our dynamic team in Pune to work with our sister company TyLin for USA Projects. As an Electrical Designer, you will play a pivotal role in designing prestige projects and will coordinate/work closely with Architects, Engineers, and other stakeholders to optimize the project design and resolving design technical issues.

As electrical design engineer, you will design various types of facilities including commercial, institutional, industrial, residential, office buildings and similar facilities, in addition to infrastructure & Industrial projects. Design activities include the preparation of reliable Electrical designs and Tender/Construction Drawings and Documents/Specification for the following system:

The professional should be a mid-level engineer with an understanding of electrical system requirements for process-driven facilities like treatment plants. Typically experienced in some or all of the following:

• Designing power distribution systems, motor control centers (MCCs), variable frequency drives (VFDs), and backup power systems for Water Treatment Plants /Wastewater Treatment Plants and pumping stations. The core of electrical design aspects of pumping stations.
• Experience with low, medium, and high-voltage systems, including switchgear and substation design.
• Familiar with preparing electrical construction documents, including single-line diagrams, wiring schematics, and equipment schedules
• Knowledge of lighting, grounding, and control panel design.
• SKM Systems Analysis, Amp Calc or Etap
• Arc flash study experience is a plus

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience as electrical designer (5-8 years).
• Strong understanding of design principles, construction techniques, and building systems.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
