Overview / Responsibilities

DAR is currently recruiting for Piping Draftsman - AutoCAD skilled in Autodesks AutoCAD with good experience working in the oil & gas projects in our Pune office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed 2D and 3D piping drawings (Deliverables) for various Oil & Gas, industrial projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance with standards, and alignment with project specifications.

Job Description and Key responsibilities:

• Develop detailed 2D Piping layout drawings, including plans, sections, and isometric views, using AutoCAD based on engineering designs and specifications
• Should be preparing piping deliverable on his own which available 2D sketches or reference XREF drawings, should have sufficient experience and oil and gas piping knowledge is must.
• Develop the detailed design drawings and 2D/3D model according to given sketches, P&ID’s, layout and specifications under the direction of engineering team.
• Extraction/Preparation of Equipment layout drawings, Piping GAD’s, Pipe Support GAD’S, Safety layouts, Special Pipe Supports.
• Experience in Oil & Gas Brownfield and Greenfield facility projects.
• Exposure in Design Basis, P&ID, Stress calculation methods and MTO.
• Knowledge of ASME & API piping codes
• ADNOC Project background is advantages

Skills / Qualifications

• Diploma or Certification in Mechanical, Chemical or relevant
• Minimum of 4-8 years of experience as a Piping Draftsman, with expertise in both 2D and 3D AutoCAD.Good knowledge of all general piping design, developing experience in the area of piping layout and phases of plot plan development
• Exposure to Smart Plant 3D (S3D), Revit & AutoCAD Plant 3D is advantagesExposure to Oil & Gas, Mining and mineral beneficiation is preferred
