Production Manager - Nutraceuticals

Job description
Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands while optimizing resources and minimizing downtime.
Manage and oversee the production process within a manufacturing environment, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.
Supervise and motivate a team of production workers, ensuring they are trained, organized, and capable of achieving production targets.
Monitor product quality and implement measures to maintain high standards through inspections, testing, and adherence to specifications.
Control production costs by monitoring expenses, implementing cost-saving measures, and optimizing resource utilization.
Enforce health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, productivity enhancements, and waste reduction through lean manufacturing principles.
Maintain accurate production records, prepare reports on performance metrics, and communicate prduction status to management.
