Senior Engineer-Gear System

Location - Hinjewadi Phase 2

Position title - Gear Systems Sr Engineer

Main responsibilities - From the concept phase to the SoP, the candidate will deal with gear systems design exploring space solutions of many possible layouts for complex ePropulsion systems in order to meet various customer performance requirements.

he/she will gather and manage inputs from different stakeholder, running simulations and providing assessments in accordance with internal design targets.

He/She will specify gear quality classifications and other tolerancing requirements that balance design and cost targets.

Will perform gear benchmarking and competitive analyses.

Review system and subsystem benchmarking and competitive analyses.

Research and recommend new technologies.

He/She will work closely with release groups and other functional teams to proactively identify any problems, develop solutions and meet performance targets and timeline program.

He/She will follow established procedures and identify future improvements in analyses capability. He/She will also support testing & design teams.

Education: University masters degree: Mechanical, Aerospace or equivalent

Professional background: 5+ years of relevant experience in Gear Design and Transmission CAE Analyses is expected.

Automotive sector required, ePropulsion / eDrives preferred.

Considered as a plus: Knowledge of specific CAE tools like Kiss-Soft, Kiss-Sys/Romax/MASTA
