Solar Plant Manager - Lanka, Assam

Ideal Candidate Profile: Candidate's with bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or a related fields, with strong understanding of solar technology and system design and experience in electrical systems, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Cement Plants may apply.

Key Expectation: overseeing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of a 31MW solar power plant, ensuring optimal energy production by managing equipment upkeep, monitoring performance, supervising technicians, and maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards, all while maximizing efficiency and minimizing downtime.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze plant performance data to identify potential issues and optimize energy production.
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules for all solar plant components, including panels, inverters, and transformers.
• Oversee daily operations, including system monitoring, data analysis, and reporting.
• Manage and troubleshoot system malfunctions, coordinating repairs with technicians.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures at the plant site
• Coordinate and oversee all maintenance activities, including cleaning panels, replacing faulty components, and performing routine inspections.
• Manage equipment inventory and ensure timely procurement of spare parts.
• Work with vendors and contractors for maintenance and repair services
• Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements related to solar power generation.
• Generate detailed reports on plant performance, maintenance activities, and safety incidents.
• Communicate performance metrics and key insights to senior management.
• Monitor operational expenses and ensure adherence to budget constraints
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize resource utilization
