Manager - Talent Acquisition - FMCG/Retail (8-12 yrs)

A client with a strong business presence in the Gulf region has retained us to recruit a Talent Acquisition Manager to be based in Vatakara, Kerala. The Organization has set a footprint in the Retail Sphere through its business of hypermarkets and supermarkets throughout the GCC. Presently, they are making a foray into the retailing of Lifestyle and Consumer Electronics

- The selected candidate will oversee global talent acquisition with a primary focus on talent acquisition in GCC countries.

- Reporting to the Head of HR, and working closely with Business Heads and Regional Managers, responsibilities are:

- The acquisition of global talent for and from countries in Europe and the Americas as well as local GCC talent and blue-collar workers from the Indian Subcontinent.

- Creation of a TA strategy,

- Set an annual manpower plan

- Identify vendors and manpower suppliers

- Identify TA tools, and set up TA processes and systems.

While the role is based in Vatakara, Kerala, it will entail traveling to the HO in Dubai and to retail locations throughout the Gulf as well as other western locations.

This is indeed an exciting and challenging role, which is highly suitable for someone who has worked in the Gulf region and wishes to relocate back home with a lucrative TA role. However, applicants from India with a strong retail talent acquisition background may also apply.
