our operations. We are seeking an experienced Legal Manager to provide strategic legal advice

and manage the company’s legal matters.

Job Summary:

As Legal Manager at Dai-ichi, you will be responsible for independently handling all legal

matters related to the company. This includes providing legal counsel to management,

overseeing contract management, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, managing legal

risks, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders. You will also be responsible for the

management of corporate legal issues, statutory compliance, and managing legal proceedings

to safeguard the company’s interests.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Legal Counsel:

Provide legal and business advice to the company’s management on various

legal issues.

Act as a trusted advisor, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance across all

departments.

Contract Management:

Lead contract negotiations and serve as the first point of contact for legal matters

related to agreements such as Agency, Distributor, Confidentiality, Tolling,

Manufacturing, Transporter, and CHA.

Draft, review, and finalize corporate contracts, agreements, legal documentation,

and respond to legal notices.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Liaise with stakeholders across Sales, HR, Commercial, Finance, Production,

and Factory Teams to provide legal advice and ensure compliance with internal

and external legal requirements.

Legal Compliance Risk Management:

Analyze legal implications of various matters, ensure compliance with applicable

laws and company standards.

Handle statutory compliance programs, including formulating policies, SOPs, and

POSH policies.

Litigation External Coordination:

Liaise with external advocates for trial or court proceedings, and represent the

company in legal matters, minimizing legal risks and violations.

Regulatory Compliance Guidance:

Provide guidance on new products and services, ensuring compliance with all

applicable regulatory requirements and legal standards.

Property Intellectual Property Management:

Manage all legal matters related to the company’s property and intellectual

property, including trademarks.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

LLB with 7+ years of experience working with a top legal firm or corporate legal

department.

Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.

Skills Experience:

Strong experience in contract management, legal compliance, and corporate

governance.

Ability to manage legal risks and provide strategic legal counsel to various

stakeholders.

Proven ability to manage litigation, liaise with external advocates, and ensure

compliance with all applicable regulations.
