Engineering Head

Position Overview:
The Engineering Head will oversee the successful execution of complex engineering projects, including clean room design, fermentation, HVAC, boilers, cooling towers, and chillers. This leadership role requires deep expertise in engineering systems within GMP-compliant facilities and a strong background in O&M for pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership & Strategy:
o Lead and manage engineering teams to deliver capital projects aligned with company goals.
o Develop and execute strategies to ensure operational excellence, cost efficiency, and sustainability in all engineering functions.
2. Project Lifecycle Management:
o Oversee the design, installation, commissioning, and qualification of critical systems (e.g., HVAC, Process Equipments, fermentation, Utilities).
o Ensure all projects meet regulatory standards (FDA, EMA, GMP) and are completed on time and within budget.
3. Engineering Systems Management:
o Lead the design and optimization of clean rooms, HVAC, boilers, cooling towers, and fermentation systems in GMP environments.
o Ensure compliance with air quality and contamination control standards.
4. Regulatory & Risk Management:
o Ensure compliance with FDA, EMA, GMP, and other regulatory standards.
o Lead the qualification and validation of systems and mitigate risks across projects.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
o Work with R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance to integrate engineering solutions.
o Collaborate with contractors and vendors to ensure high-quality execution.
6. Team Development & Mentoring:
o Mentor and develop senior engineers and technical staff.
o Foster a culture of continuous improvement in engineering processes.
7. Innovation & Technology Integration:
o Evaluate and implement emerging technologies (e.g., automation, digital twin technology, IoT) to improve engineering and manufacturing operations.

Required Qualifications:
Education:
o Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field). A Masters degree is preferred.
o PMP or Six Sigma certification is advantageous.
Experience:
o 12-18 years in engineering/project management, with 10+ years in leadership roles in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
o Extensive experience in Project Design and Execution of Pharma Plants ,fermentation processes, HVAC, boilers, cooling towers, and chillers.
Skills:
o Strong expertise in clean room design, HVAC, fermentation systems, and GMP-compliant infrastructure.
o Deep understanding of regulatory standards and project risk management.
o Proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
