Structural Engineer - Design

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of structural engineers. Oversee team performance and professional development, providing guidance and training as needed.

2. Structural Design & Analysis: Design and review structural elements to ensure their stability, safety, and functionality. Use advanced engineering software to perform structural analysis and design (e.g., AutoCAD,ETAB, STAAD Pro). Provide technical expertise and recommendations for materials, construction methods, and design strategies.

3. Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring effective resource allocation and adherence to timelines and budgets. Coordinate with project managers and other departments to ensure the efficient execution of projects. Review and approve project specifications, drawings, and Details. Resolve technical issues and provide solutions to complex engineering challenges.

4. Collaboration with Stakeholders: Serve as the primary point of contact for architects and other engineering disciplines on structural matters. Attend project meetings and provide updates on progress as and when needed. Collaborate with other departments, such as MEP engineers, architects, and construction teams, to ensure integrated and optimized designs.

5. Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, safety standards. Perform detailed reviews and audits of design calculations and project plans to ensure accuracy and completeness. Oversee the approval process for structural designs and construction methods.

Required Qualifications:

Education: Masters degree in Structural Engineering.

Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural engineering.

Professional Certification: Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent certification is required.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAB, STAAD Pro) Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction standards. Expertise in structural analysis and design across various projects (commercial, residential, infrastructure, etc.).
