Job Description
- Assist the cameraman in the setup, adjustment, and operation of camera equipment.
- Collaborate with the director and other crew members to achieve the desired visual style.
- Handle and manage camera accessories, including lenses, filters, and tripods.
- Assist in setting up lighting equipment and managing rigging when needed.
- Help with the organization and maintenance of camera gear and equipment.
- Prepare and label camera cards and backups as instructed.
- Operate the camera during specific shots under the guidance of the cameraman.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace on set.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all crew members.
- Attend pre-production meetings and contribute ideas to enhance the visual narrative.
Requirements- Fresher or experienced candidates can apply.
- Familiarity with camera equipment (e.g., DSLRs, cinema cameras) and basic cinematography principles.
- A strong understanding of lighting techniques and sound equipment is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by production schedules.
- A passion for film and storytelling is essential.
