Scrum master / Project Management role

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Scrum Implementation and Project Management Specialist to lead the adoption and optimization of agile practices and project management frameworks within the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation, improve delivery timelines, and maintain excellence in managing projects related to Automotive Testing and connected technologies.

Key Responsibilities :

Scrum Implementation
• Drive the adoption of Scrum methodology within cross-functional teams, including engineering, software development, and manufacturing.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives) while ensuring alignment with automotive product development cycles.
• Coach teams, and stakeholders on agile practices, ensuring they align with the automotive industry’s fast-paced and regulated environment.
• Define and monitor metrics (e.g., velocity, lead time, and defect rates) to evaluate Scrum adoption success.

Project Management Practices Implementation and Maintenance :

• Develop and maintain project management frameworks tailored to automotive industry needs, including APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and other relevant methodologies.
• Collaborate with teams in areas like R&D, production planning, and supply chain to define project scopes, timelines, and key deliverables.
• Ensure alignment of project management practices with automotive compliance standards (e.g., ISO/TS 16949, ASPICE).
• Standardize tools and templates for effective tracking, reporting, and stakeholder communication across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Provide support to project managers and team members on project management tools like Jira, MS Project, and industry-specific software.
• Continuously evaluate and optimize processes to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and time-to-market.

Qualifications :

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Automotive Technology, Business, or a related field.
• Certifications: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or certifications in automotive project methodologies (e.g., ASPICE, Six Sigma).

Experience:
• 3+ years of experience in agile implementation and project management, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Hands-on expertise in managing complex, cross-functional projects in areas like vehicle development, manufacturing, or connected car technology.
• Familiarity with automotive product development cycles, regulatory standards, and industry trends.

Skills :

• Strong knowledge of Scrum and scaling frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS) and their application in hardware and software environments.
• Familiarity with automotive project management tools like Jira, DOORS NG, or similar PLM systems.
• Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management skills, particularly across global teams and suppliers.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) specific to automotive domain.
• Analytical skills for tracking project metrics and providing actionable insights.
