Job Description

Required Skills:

Knowledge on Electrical harness modeling in CATIA V5 – Electrical harness Routing (EHI) and Electrical Fitting installation.
Thorough knowledge on Sheet metal component design, material and thickness selection
Able to interpret electrical schema and apply while routing the harness.
Wire Bundle calculation, selection of protection, connectors, conduit, etc…
Good Knowledge of materials & mechanical characteristics
Ability to perform a weight assessment on assemblies, aggregates and installations
Able to define fasteners and joint design
Design for manufacturability, serviceability.
Good knowledge of drawing rules and GDT&T using relevant standards ASME , DIN, EN, ISO
Hands-on experience of CAD tools like Catia V5 and PLM platform like Enovia to create and validate 3D and 2D
Able to perform basic calculation.

Total years of experience: 4 to 6yrs
