Role Overview :

We are seeking a talented and experienced AI/ML with Computer Vision Architect to join our team and lead the design and development of innovative AI-driven computer vision solutions. As an architect, you will play a key role in shaping the future of computer vision technologies, delivering advanced AI/ML models, and contributing to our industry-leading solutions across diverse domains. Your deep expertise in computer vision will be critical in developing state-of-the-art models that will solve complex business challenges.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Architect AI/ML Solutions :

- Design, implement, and deploy scalable and robust machine learning algorithms and computer vision models across diverse industries and applications (e.g., object detection, image classification, anomaly detection, image segmentation).

- Lead the development of innovative computer vision models leveraging deep learning techniques (e.g., CNNs, GANs, RNNs, Transformers).

2. End-to-End Model Development :

- Oversee the full lifecycle of AI/ML projects from requirements gathering, architecture design, model prototyping, data preparation, training, optimization, deployment, and post-deployment monitoring.

- Ensure models are highly performant, accurate, and meet business and technical requirements.

3. Collaboration and Leadership :

- Lead cross-functional teams consisting of data scientists, engineers, product managers, and domain experts to define project scope, deliverables, and timelines.

- Mentor and guide junior team members on technical best practices, fostering a culture of innovation and knowledge-sharing.

4. Research and Innovation :

- Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in AI/ML and computer vision. Integrate emerging technologies into practical solutions that drive value for our clients.

- Contribute to white papers, patents, or industry presentations that showcase Cyients leadership in AI and computer vision.

5. Data Management & Annotation :

- Work closely with data engineers to design, curate, and manage high-quality datasets required for training and testing computer vision models.

- Guide the team in implementing effective data labeling and annotation processes, ensuring data integrity for model accuracy.

6. Optimization and Scalability :

- Optimize machine learning models for deployment at scale, focusing on improving runtime efficiency and ensuring real-time performance in production environments.

- Use modern tools and techniques to monitor, evaluate, and improve model performance continuously.

7. Deployment and Integration :

- Lead the deployment of AI/ML models into production environments, ensuring seamless integration with existing software systems.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and ongoing maintenance of AI-powered applications.

8. Ethical AI Practices :

- Champion the development and deployment of responsible AI models, ensuring fairness, transparency, and ethical considerations are built into all solutions.

- Conduct bias detection and model validation to ensure compliance with AI ethics and regulatory standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

1. Educational Background :

- A Bachelors, Masters, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mathematics, or a related field.

2. Experience :

- At least 5-8 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML, with a strong emphasis on computer vision applications.

- Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying computer vision-based models using deep learning techniques (CNNs, RNNs, object detection, semantic segmentation, etc.).

3. Technical Expertise :

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.

- Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, and OpenCV.

- Solid understanding of computer vision algorithms and techniques, including object detection (YOLO, SSD),

image segmentation (U-Net, Mask R-CNN), feature extraction, and 3D vision.

- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) for AI/ML model deployment and

scaling.

- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

4. Data Handling and Preprocessing :

- Experience in handling large-scale datasets and applying techniques like data augmentation, normalization, and pre-processing for computer vision models.

- Familiarity with data annotation tools and techniques for efficient labeling.

5. Model Optimization and Efficiency :

- Expertise in optimizing machine learning models for production environments, including model compression, quantization, and parallel processing.

- Experience with performance benchmarking and tuning models for low-latency, high-throughput applications.

6. Mathematical & Analytical Skills :

- Strong foundation in linear algebra, probability theory, optimization methods, and statistical modeling as applied to AI/ML and computer vision.

7. Soft Skills :

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
