Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior SalesExecutive with over 6 to 8 years of experience in sales, specificallywithin the Aerospace and Defence Sectors in India. The ideal candidate willhave a deep understanding of these sectors and a proven track record of workingwith Defence PSU accounts (DPSU). As Defence Sales Manager in India, youwill operate with a high degree of autonomy to drive growth, with a specialemphasis on partnering with DPSU and its customers.
The position will be based in India and willinvolve regular travel to target customer locations.
Essential Responsibilities include:
Responsible for order intake,revenue, and profit targets for AD Sector with special emphasis on DefencePSUs accounts.
Significantly grow the DLM businessby winning new business in Defence PSUs accounts.
Conduct market research to understandthe needs and requirements of target customers.
Develop business cases and strategiesand lead overall activities to achieve growth and market penetration in thissector.
Identify and establish relationshipswith key decision-makers and stakeholders within the AD industry.
Prepare and deliver compelling salespresentations and proposals tailored to the AD sector.
Negotiate contracts and close dealsto meet or exceed sales targets.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge ofindustry trends, competitors, and market conditions.
Provide timely forecasts of revenue,business capture, sales and orders booking, and status of pursuits andproposals.
Generate, maintain, and present salesmanagement artifacts and tools such as strategic sales plans, account plans,sales funnels, capture plans, and order forecasts.
Work closely with BusinessDevelopment, Strategy, Marketing, and Technical teams to meet organizationalgoals.
Enhance visibility for Cyient DLM byparticipating in expositions and conferences.
