Detailed JD:

- Master's degree in accounting /finance

- CPA, CA or equivalent preferred.

- Candidate to have in-dept knowledge of underwriting P&L (Premium, Claims, Commission, Expenses, and ceded and assumed facultative reinsurance transactions).

- Must have good communication skills to manage stakeholders across all regions independently

- Good Knowledge of issuing office and producing office concept.

- Good Knowledge of use functions like 'VLOOKUP',`SUMIF`, `INDEX-MATCH`, and `IFERROR` for dynamic data analysis, pivot tables for summarizing large datasets, conditional formulae.

- Well versed with financial metrics include the combined ratio (which measures underwriting profitability), loss ratio, expense ratio, net written premiums.

- Conduct variance analysis comparing actuals results against budgets and forecasts and provide insights into drivers of variances for management for decisions making.

- Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations that communicate financial performance, trends, and key drivers across various lines of business.

- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives within the controllership function to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance
