Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Basis Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of hands-on experience in SAP S/4 and HANA Basis administration, maintenance, and support. As an integral part of our organization, the SAP Basis Consultant will play a key role in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our SAP landscape.
- 2+ years of SAP Basis administration experience
- Ready to work in shifts (24 x 7)
- hands on ECC & SAP HANA administration
- Strong troubleshooting experience on SAP S/4HANA administration (basis administration tasks)
- Hands on experience on Linux operating system
- Good communication (written and oral) skills
- SAP HANA S/4 installation, configuration & administration on Premises.
- SAP HANA S/4 installation, configuration & administration on Amazon cloud services (AWS)
- HANA Database administration 1 and 2 release
- HANA ECC ERP to SAP HANA S/4 1909 conversion
- SAP ERP EHP8 installation and configuration and administration
- Solution manager 7.0 & 7.2 installation and configuration and administration
- Single Sign-On 3.0 with Kerberos/SPNego, SAML with ADFS & SAP IDP
- SAP FIORI installation and configuration and administration
- SAP Business Objects 4.0 & 4.2 ( BOBJ) installation and configuration and administration
- SAP Screen Persona installation and configuration
- Well versed with business processes in distribution area of utilities
- SAP ERP Unicode upgrades
- Solution Manager upgrades
- Amazon cloud services administration (Instance administrations on EC2)
- SAP Basis certification is a plus.
- 24 x 7 - offshore support ( Only Onsite Thane office)
- Strong troubleshooting experience on SAP S/4HANA administration (basis administration tasks)
- Hands on experience on Linux operating system
- hands on SAP HANA administration
- Good Oral communication/presentation skills required
- MS-Azure cloud administration will be an added advantage
- Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems, including ECC, BW, CRM, Solution Manager, and other SAP applications
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and enhancements in accordance with best practices and business requirements
- Monitor and optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and reliability of SAP systems
- Conduct regular system health checks, system refreshes, and backups to safeguard data integrity and disaster recovery capabilities
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to support ongoing projects, system integrations, and new implementations
- Provide technical support for SAP Basis-related incidents, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Develop and maintain system documentation, standard operating procedures, and best practices for SAP Basis operations
- Stay abreast of industry trends, SAP releases, and advancements in SAP Basis technology to recommend and implement improvements
