Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud solutions.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud platforms, automation, and DevOps practices, with a strong focus on Azure, PaaS, SaaS, and CI/CD pipelines.

This role involves managing cloud infrastructure, enhancing reliability, and supporting business-critical applications.

Job Description :

- Demonstrable experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure (experience with AWS or Google Cloud is a plus).

- Strong background in system administration, delivery, and/or 2nd/3rd line support.

- Proven ability to build and support infrastructure solutions using cloud services.

- Solid understanding of cloud networking, security, and architecture concepts.

- Experience in building and supporting business-critical applications in the cloud.

- Expertise in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) deployments and serverless infrastructure approaches.

- Proficiency in infrastructure automation and configuration management.

- Scripting knowledge in JSON, PowerShell, Bash, YAML, and Terraform.

- Proven experience working in a DevOps/Agile environment.

- Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.

- Expertise in automation and reliability engineering.

- Hands-on experience and best practices with the Microsoft Azure tech stack.

Key Responsibilities :

Cloud Infrastructure Management :

- Deploy, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure on Azure.

- Monitor cloud environments to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.

Infrastructure Automation :

- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform, PowerShell, and YAML.

- Implement and maintain serverless and containerized deployments (e., AKS).

- Implement robust security measures, including IAM policies, firewalls, and encryption.

- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.

Monitoring and Troubleshooting :

- Monitor cloud resources and resolve performance or availability issues.

- Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.

Collaboration and Support :

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support application deployments.

- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Qualifications and Certifications :

Educational Background : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Certifications (Preferred) :

- Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect Expert.

- Microsoft Certified : Azure Administrator Associate.

- AWS or Google Cloud certifications (a plus).
