SAP Basis & Database Administrator - S/4 HANA Installation & Configuration (3-4 yrs)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis and Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, and optimize SAP landscapes and database operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Basis administration, database management (SAP HANA), system migrations (including NetWeaver to S/4HANA) and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

SAP Basis and DBA Administration :

- Perform installation, configuration of SAP S/4HANA systems.

- Execute SAP system upgrades, support package installations, kernel updates, and add-on installations.

- Manage Transport Management System (TMS) and client administration.

- Handle user management, roles, and authorizations in SAP systems.

- Manage and monitor SAP HANA databases, including backups, recoveries, and performance optimization.

- Execute database upgrades, revisions, and patches.

- Hands-on experience with NetWeaver to S/4HANA migration projects.

- Knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Windows) and virtualization technologies.

- Familiarity with SAP tools like SAP Solution Manager, SWPM, and HDBLCM.

- Understanding of high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) configurations.

- Experience in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for SAP workloads.

- Strong skills in SQL and database scripting.

Technical Support and Documentation :

- Provide technical support for SAP landscapes, ensuring compliance with SLAs.

- Document system configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

- Conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions for recurring issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Experience: Minimum of 4 years in SAP Basis and Database Administration, with hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA.
